To add a channel to a display, select a channel from the Active Channels list on the Device Panel and drag it onto a display. When the panel turns green release the mouse button.
You can click and drag each channel to quickly reorder the channels in the display legend.
Press <Shift> to select multiple contiguous channels, or <Ctrl> to select multiple non-contiguous channels. To select all channels, click on any channel and then press <Ctrl-A>.
To a add digital channels to a display as a port, select and drag the port – and not the individual bits – from the Device Panel to the display. The bits are grouped as a single port, and includes context menu options to change how the digital value is shown.

To copy a channel from one display to another, press <Ctrl> and drag the channel to a display. Data acquired from that channel is automatically added to the display.
To move a channel from one display to another, drag the channel to a display. Data acquired from that channel is automatically added to the target display and removed from the source display.
To remove a channel from a display, right-click on the channel icon on the display and select Remove from Display from the context menu, or open the Display Settings dialog box and select the Remove checkbox.
Note: Removing a channel from a display does not deactivate the channel. A channel removed from a display is still in the Active Channels list, and can be added to a display.
