Overview of Counter/Timers on the DT7816

The DT7816 provides a general-purpose counter/timer (C/T 0) that you can use to perform the following operations:

• Event counting

• Pulse output (continuous, one-shot, and non-retriggerable one-shot)

The C/T signals are available through the Digital I/O header on the DT7816 module. You can access these signals using the Digital I/O connector of the STP781x screw terminal panel.
